Equine Conditions Guide <\/span><\/h1>\n

This equine condition guide is only a guide, based on clinical experience with Cur-OST\u00ae Equine formulas in private veterinary practice and rehabilitation. The goal with all conditions is to aid in restoring balance back to the body, which is accomplished by balancing the inflammatory response, improving cellular health and function, supporting the immune function, and providing proper nutrient provision. One must keep in mind that the diet and exercise regimen is the foundation for every program.\u00a0 Both of those entities are needed for recovery and maintenance of health in any horse.<\/p>\n

In many instances, these goals may require the use of two (2) or more Cur-OST\u00ae formulas to achieve best results, at least in the early stages.\u00a0 As the condition of your horse improves, the regimen may potentially be able to be simplified, either reducing the number of supplements, or reducing the dosage of the supplements being utilized.\u00a0 This is achieved on a ‘patient-by-patient’ basis and is hard to predict. It is best determined by observing your horse, monitoring for changes, making changes, and then reassessing the impact of those changes.<\/p>\n

In many instances, the approach to therapy is based on body condition, which will be mentioned.\"\"\u00a0 Most combination regimens are continued for 60-90 days, following label directions for each product. \u00a0After this time, period, the regimens are often reduced to just the main Cur-OST\u00ae EQ Total, EQ Plus, Pure EQ or EQ Green with the goal of balancing the inflammatory response daily. \u00a0In some cases, after a period of time as the patient is improving, the main Cur-OST\u00ae formula being used may be changed to a lower level formula, such as EQ Plus to EQ Green, or EQ Total to EQ Green or Pure EQ to EQ Plus, if that horse is responding well.<\/p>\n

The ability to reduce the regimen, adjust to lower required doses and more simplified regimens is patient variable, dependent on the severity of the condition and many contributing factors including stress, diet, environmental, and even proper foot care.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
